This page explains what information may be handled when you visit Webroom. You do not need an account or need to identify yourself to browse the site. Webroom has no public comments, payments or visitor sign-up.

The hosting service receives technical details needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page requested and the time of the request. This information may be used to keep the site available, diagnose problems and prevent abuse. Webroom does not use it to build visitor profiles.

Webroom's database and file storage contain the site's published photographs, captions, books and quotations, together with private access used to manage the site. They do not contain public visitor profiles. Webroom does not knowingly collect precise location, biometric or financial information from visitors.

The site may save small interface preferences and scroll positions in your browser so navigation works properly. This information stays on your device and does not contain your identity or messages. Webroom does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. A protected cookie is used only for Din's private site-management access.

Technical information is used to deliver and secure Webroom. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating the site, or compliance with a legal obligation where one applies.

Webroom relies on outside hosting, managed database, file-storage and error-reporting services. These providers may process technical request details or retain logs under their own policies. Error reports may include the error message, page address and browser details. No dedicated advertising or audience-tracking service is installed.

Links to books, quotations or other material lead to services with their own privacy practices. Information is not sold or shared for advertising, but it may be disclosed when required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Providers may process information where their systems operate.

Hosting logs and error reports are kept for the periods set by the relevant service providers.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or transfer personal information, and to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. These rights may be limited by law.

Include enough information to identify what your request concerns. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Webroom is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has supplied information may request its removal.
